Settling Into Life In Devon

It’s only been a few weeks but I’m already feeling right at home in the beautiful English county of Devon. Lush fields, sprawling forests, and pretty villages are all daily sights no matter where I’m venturing. Happy Birthday To Me…

Happy Birthday! I’m another year wiser (and older I guess) but who’s counting, right? Firstly a quick look back at the past year! So this time last year we were in Italy, navigating the crazy Italian roads on our way down from Rome to Naples. After we got back, I took a TEFL course and started teaching. A Mini-Break of Relaxation, Healing and Lots of Cake

At the start of the week, I made my biannual pilgrimage to Wales to visit my good friend Carol and my ex-share-horse Dancer. The four-hour journey is now quite familiar, and although driving is one of my least favourite pastimes, I do enjoy leaving the Midlands behind as I head towards beautiful Pembrokeshire with its rolling hills, pretty cottages, and quaint towns and villages.
